Swing trading is learning how to enter trades with minimal risk and manage positions according to the markets' subsequent behavior. It does not try to predict an outcome in the same way pattern recognition does.

Advanced Options Swing Trading Techniques – Learn from Professional Traders
Swing trading is a process of fixing a series of “rules” that trigger a trade decision.
I am reentering the trading. I want to have a list of around 100 scrips?
I am a swing trader (Certainly not at all a long term trader). I was a trader in 1988 to 1992, after a several years of gap I am reentering the trading. I want to have a list of around 100 scrips which are selected using the criteria using the following list of importance. a) fundamentally strong b) High turnover c) High volume d)very active(recently) e) High EPS f) nearest to its Buy or Sell ‘SIGNALS’. Of course parameters and criteria have become more (so I request you to kindly guide me by, step by step method.
If any senior members have such list, please kindly send it to me by e-mail with the details, reasons and on what criteria they selected it.
And also I will be grateful if anybody suggest me their method of selecting criteria and parameter to select around best around hundred (100) scrips (if anybody have such list please kindly send me only the symbol name I will be grateful to them) for an official swing trader.
First, the stock must have good fundamentals. For good ideas on searching for stocks with good fundamentals, look at William O’Neil’s book called "How to Make Money in Stocks." This book combines fundamental analysis and technical analysis and teaches that the best thing to do is to use both strategies together. I am sure, you can find this book in libraries, and you may read it if you are interested.
Next, screen for stocks with good technicals. I use Telechart to screen the 7000+ stocks in the universe, but there are also many good stock screens available online. From there I narrow the selection down to what I call myUniverse of Stocks to approximately 2500. This screen is based on…
Price > $5
90 day Volume > 250,000
Capitalization > $100M
From here I use multiple screens to narrow my selection down to several hundred by choosing for instance…
Relative Strength >70
MoneyStream >70
Profit Margin in the upper 50th percentile
Revenue Growth
Earnings Growth
PEG < 1.5
Once I have my selection I look at the charts for a good buying opportunity…
MACD crossing above the zero line
Stochastics are not overbought
Good Industry in good Sector (Top 20% industries)
After this, your selection is down to a dozen or so, and for these I check the recent news, Schwab ratings, MSN ratings, etc.

dear friend,
trading is a dangerous game an investor never loses money if his selected portfolio is good, however a trader can LOSE money…yet if u still WANT to trade then follow my principle….i only trade in companies i would like to INVEST, what this means is that i buy companies in which i am LONG so that in case thye markets go down i dont feel sorry if i am left holding shares of these companies as i know in the long run when the bull cycle comes they will perform & meanwhile i will definitely get dividends & bonuses…..also i suggest stick to between 20-40 scrips to trade…dont exceed as it is easier to monitor these many scrips…….you can trade in following scrips….RELIANCE, INFOSYS, ITC, TATAINVESTMENT CORP, NORTHGATE TECHNOLOGY, KS OIL, RELAINCE NATURAL, LARSEN & TOUBRO, RELIANCE COMMUNICATION, MEDIA VIDEO LTD.THERMAX, PRAJ INDUSTRIES, TCS, KEC INTERNATIONAL, PATEL ENGINEEERING,ILFS, IDFC, GUJ STATE PETRONET, MOSER BEAR, DLF, RELIANCE PETRO, RELIANCE CAPITAL, RELIANCE ENERGY, RADHA MADHAV CORP, UNITED SPIRITS & MAHINDRA….THESE ARE ALL FUNDAMENTALLY GOOD COMPANIES…MONITOR THEM & GET IN AT GOOD VALUATIONS.

The scrips of the NSE which is 50 in number meet you basic criterion, except for the oil marketing companies such as HPCL and BPCL as far as the EPS goes. But should meet all your other criterion.
Scrips in BSE 100 also will meet your criterion. Stick to these for the time being as they are widely tracked by all Mutual Funds.
All the best in Trading .
